A Signed Baseball from The Game's Notorious Dictator of a Fan! Rare International Baseball Federation (IBAF) Cuban baseball, boldly signed on the side panel by none other than Cuba's Fidel Castro. It is well documented that Castro had a love for the game, and he was a star pitcher at University of Havana. How history would of changed if Castros dream of pitching in Major League Baseball would of come true! But alas, it was not meant to be. It was rumored a Pirate scout wrote he had nothing on his fastball and would be no more than a AA player. With baseball not in the cards, Castro became a lawyer, then a military leader and eventually the Dictator of Cuba. The rest is history! The baseball exhibits a mild hue of toning from game use, an official gold stamp below the autograph & a bold blue ink inscription to a fellow player of the IBAF league. A nice piece for the history or baseball buff with tremendous association between the world of politics and baseball!
