When it comes to the birth of what we know as Rock N' Roll, Ritchie Valens easily was one of the first recording artist to achieve main-stream success. Valens was one of the first stars to transcend the stereotype of Latin American music with hits such as ‘C’Mon Let’s Go’ and the ever popular ‘La Bamba.’ Tragically Valens was killed in the plane crash that also took the lives of Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper, simply known now as "The Day the Music Died". Offered here is an ultra-rare promotional 2.5" x 3.5" black & white photograph signed on the reverse in bold blue ink by Ritchie Valens. It's worth noting that with less than ten certified signed photograph examples by Valens, this remains the only non-personalized variant we could uncover!
