While Clapton's time in The Yardbirds was short (64-65), his departure would make a big impact in Rock N' Roll history. Clapton would leave the Yardbirds in mid 1965, giving way to his next major venture in Cream starting in 1966. While Clapton was exploring his musical expertise with Baker/Bruce, The Yardbirds would add young guitarist Jimmy Page to replace Clapton, a move that would later give way to the beginnings of Led Zeppelin. Offered here is a c. 1964/65 The Yardbirds 4" x 6" promotional postcard signed & personalized in bold ink by Eric Clapton, Keith Relf, Chris Dreja, Paul Sammuel Smith & Jim McCarty. Overall in fine condition with minor brushing to the signatures & minor handling wear to the edges. Authenticated by REAL/Epperson with a full letter of authenticity.
