Offered here is an New York Yankees Russell Athletic road gray size 46 jersey worn by baseball's greatest reliever of all time and first unanimous hall of famer Mariano Rivera during his memorable 2000 season. The jersey itself shows nice game use and is unique in the fact that it has the "YO" patch sewn into the lower left front tail referring to "Year 2000" and has the black Bob Lemon memorial arm band on the left sleeve. There is a special World Series patch that has been added to the right shoulder. We believe the patch could have been added after the World Series for display purposes. Rivera has signed the jersey on the back in silver sharpie and added a special inscription "Game Used, 00 W.S. Champs.” A exact photograph of Rivera signing the jersey is present as the GOAT scripts his game-use approval. Overall in fine condition with minor holes from previous framing. Authenticated by Steiner Sports with their hologram affixed & We guarantee this jersey to pass MEARS with a grade of A-5 or better.
