Remaining a cultural icon to this day, it is arguable that she is more popular now than ever, even with her passing being over fifty years ago. She remains a symbol of glamour all across the U.S. and even the world. With nearly every picture of Monroe being considered provocative by many, this sultry 8 x 10 photo is one of the most stunning we have ever seen! Casting her alluring gaze at the camera, Marilyn draws the viewer into her orbit. The original photo by itself is auction worthy, but taking this item to new heights is Monroe's blue steel-tip signature gracing the bottom corner of the photograph, signed & inscribed To Jules, Thanks for everything, Marilyn Monroe. Overall the photo remains in good condition with minor surface impressions and some slight piercing over the personalization due to protrusion of the steel-tip through the photo paper. There also appear to have been some ink adhesion problems with Marilyn's pen, but autograph remains appropriately gorgeous and flowing. The item is affixed to a backing that has been cut down to fit the size of the photograph, with some rough edges to the backing. Despite any flaws, this is unmistakably a true one-of-a-kind Monroe relic that is suitable as a centerpiece to any Hollywood/entertainment collector!
