This document stands as the formal agreement between Paramount Pictures Corporation and Broderick's Kilcar Amusement Company Inc., in which Kilcar agrees to render Broderick's acting services for the role as Ferris Bueller in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off. An thorough and intriguing read, the document outlines all aspects to Broderick's participation in the film, including his compensation ($1,000,000 in 10 weekly installments, plus 7.5% net profits on the films income); how long he'll have to shoot for (up to 12 weeks); where his name will be listed in the credits; and merchandising rights, among a number of legalities covered.
