An impressive and influential piece of pop culture history, presented here for your bidding pleasure is this extensive document, 45 pages, dated August 12, 1985. This document stands as the formal agreement between Paramount Pictures Corporation and Broderick's Kilcar Amusement Company Inc., in which Kilcar agrees to render Broderick's acting services for the role as Ferris Bueller in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off. An thorough and intriguing read, the document outlines all aspects to Broderick's participation in the film, including his compensation ($1,000,000 in 10 weekly installments, plus 7.5% net profits on the films income); how long he'll have to shoot for (up to 12 weeks); where his name will be listed in the credits; and merchandising rights, among a number of legalities covered. The document is made official with two signatures from Broderick, including one acting as the president of his production company (Kilcar) and the second on his behalf as the actor. The document is well preserved and stands in superb condition.

While signed documents from actors can be found in the marketplace, few are as extensive or as significant as this contract. In accepting the role as Ferris Bueller, Broderick developed a character that was instantly connected with the youth culture and has become one of the most iconic roles in modern cinema. Accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA.
