It is well-known that Paul McCartney loves vacationing in Jamaica. Another music legend, Johnny Cash, loved the island so much that he and his wife June bought a house there. On one of Paul's vacations with his wife Linda in the 1980s, Johnny and June invited the couple over to their house for dinner. While Paul was there, they penned the song "New Moon Over Jamaica". Offered here is an original candid photograph of the two famous couples, with Johnny & Paul casually strumming their guitars. Although there is no solid proof, it is possible that this photo was taken that very night in Jamaica when they collaborated on the famous song. The photo has been signed across the top by McCartney in bold black ballpoint pen, "To Jane, All the Best, Paul McCartney." Carter & Cash have both also added their autographs in very light & faded black ballpoint pen, with June signing in the bottom left corner with a personalization and Johnny signing in the bottom right.
