Five-star General Dwight D. Eisenhower was arguably the single most important military figure of World War II. For many historians, his memoirs of this eventful period of U.S. history have become the single most important record of the war. Offered here is a first edition hardcover of Eisenhower's 1948 "Crusade in Europe", which tells the complete story of the war as Eisenhoewr planned and lived it. The limited signed edition #1395 of 1426 has been signed on the inside by Eisenhower at the conclusion of a facsimile of his D-Day orders. The black felt tip signature stands strong and the book is in overall good condition, with minor handling wear. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with a full letter of authenticity.
