This one-page letter, dated October 29, 1910 on official White House letterhead, is addressed to a Rev. John Wesley Hill. The letter reads, in full, "My dear John Welsey Hill, I hope this will reach you Sunday morning. I am delighted to hear from you and get your encouraging prophesies. We are sending out some heavy artillery to Ohio and I hope their coming will serve to hold up your hands in putting the campaign on a higher basis than Harmon seems to be willing to have it. With grateful affection, believe me." Taft goes onto hand sign the letter in black ink. Overall in fine condition, with a horizontal fold across the center and some fading to the autograph. Some ink bleed through to the reverse. Accompanied by full letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
