When it comes to the birth of what we know as Rock N' Roll, Ritchie Valens easily was one of the first recording artist to achieve main-stream success. Valens was one of the first stars to transcend the stereotype of Latin American music with hits such as ‘C’Mon Let’s Go’ and the ever popular ‘La Bamba.’ Tragically Valens was killed in the plane crash that also took the lives of Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper, simply known now as "The Day the Music Died". Offered here is a tremendous display featuring two multi-signed 6.5" x 4.5" cuts vintage signed by Ritchie Valens, JP Richardson (Big Bopper), Frankie Sardo, Dion DiMucci, Carl Bunch (x2), Debbie Stevens, Jim Lonsbury & Thom Mason. Each cut has been matted besides a smaller portion photocopy of Ritchie Valens & Big Bopper (JP Richardson) which were taken from the original examples (still intact). Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear to the edges. Authenticated by James Spence Authentication with a full letter of authenticity.
