Most notably, he spent 13 seasons playing for the Boston Red Sox, from his rookie year in 1984 all the way until 1996. Offered here is a payroll check from one of his years with that franchise, dated November 1, 1986 on an official Boston Red Sox company check, made out to "William Roger Clemens" for the amount of $50,375.00. The check has been endorsed and marked as "For Deposit Only" on the reverse by Clemens himself in ballpoint pen. In fine condition with typical cancellation stampings.
