Despite the fame of becoming the single season home run king, Maris would often step away from the limelight, including when he would sign many baseballs. Maris would often opt to sign on side panels due to his humble nature. Offered here is an rare official American League Lee MacPhail Baseball graced by the former home run champ on the side panel in blue ballpoint. Overall in good condition with expected spotting seen on many MacPhail spheres. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
