Nicknamed "The Rajah", Rogers Hornsby played in MLB for 23 seasons, the majority of which were for the Cardinals, although also included the Giants, Braves, Cubs, and St. Louis Browns (now Baltimore Orioles). His .358 batting average is second only to the great Ty Cobb's. Offered here is a 2.5" x 4.75" cut signed by Hornsby in black ink with a small newspaper photograph affixed next to the signature. In fine condition. Mounted to a larger 3" x 5" card for added support with the notation "N.L. Batting Champ '22 - .401" typewritten on it. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
