One of the rarest and most intriguing Ronald Reagan items we've had the pleasure to broker, presented here is a photocopy of the 2-page (8.5" x 11" each) handwritten manuscript penned by former President Reagan when he revealed to the world that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The first page of this manuscript has been handsomely signed by President Reagan in the upper right corner in black ink, and represents one of the final autograph requests that President Reagan ever did for the public.

Upon announcing of his diagnosis in November of 1994, Reagan ceased attending any public functions and essentially become a recluse in his final days. This manuscript was obtained by President Reagan's physical therapist at the time, and represents one of just a few examples signed by Reagan before all signing requests were cut off--even to those within the Reagan inner circle.

A minor fold impression is present along the upper quadrant, otherwise this manuscript stands in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
