Winston Churchill was undoubtedly one of the most iconic leaders that Britain has ever seen. Though he was born into a life of privilege, he dedicated himself to public service. His legacy is a complicated one - he was an idealist and a pragmatist, an orator and a soldier, an advocate of progressive social reforms and an unapologetic elitist, and was a defender of democracy as well as of Britain's fading empire. Whichever version of himself he presented, though, he remains a hero to many in Great Britain and elsewhere, with his can-do attitude in the face of adversity. Offered here is an ultra-rare portrait photograph, measuring 4.5" x 6.75", signed along the bottom border by the leader, "Winston S. Churchill".
