Offered here is a signed 5" x 8" black & white photo by Peter Cushing as Tarkin, nicely hand signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Mel, may God's blessing be with you always. In all sincerity, Peter Cushing, '79," with Cusing also adding "Star Wars" on the reverse of the photo. Accompanied by the original correspondence sent along with the photo, which includes a typed signed note and the original mailing envelope which has been filled out entirely in Cushing's hand. While signed photos of Cushing as Tarkin are rare and desirable in any form, this particular example stands out as one of the best we've seen. Cushing would play the role of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin during the original 1977 Star Wars movie, perishing with the Death Star. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity for the signed photo from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
