Published in 1977, The Shining was Stephen King's third published novel and first hardback bestseller. The success of the book firmly established King as a preeminent author in the horror genre. The setting and characters are influenced by King's personal experiences staying at The Stanley Hotel in 1974. The novel was adapted into a 1980 film, which is regarded as one of the greatest horror films ever made. Offered here is unique piece from Stephen King, a library bookmobile card for The Shining signed by the novelist in black ballpoint pen. In fine condition with minor handling wear. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with a certificate of authenticity.
