For many of us, it just doesn’t get any better than the blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe. Remaining a cultural icon to this day, it’s arguable that she’s more popular than ever even with her passing being over fifty (50) years ago. With nearly every picture of Monroe being considered “provocative” by many, this original “River of No Return” promotional 8” x 10” photo may be the most stunning we have ever seen! A rare one-of-a-kind original image of Monroe in her prime sporting fishnet leggings, graced over an acoustic guitar with her near-perfect curvy figure outlined by an off-white background. The photo by itself is auction worthy, but taking this item to new heights in the vibrant lime-green fountain pen signature of Monroe’s on perfect off-white contrast. Signed & inscribed “To Dwane, Hugs & Kisses, Marilyn Monroe.” Overall the photo remains in good condition with minor surface impressions, some slight paper-loss & creasing to the corners. It’s unknown wither or not this original stamped 8” x 10” image was ever ran in print form, but if we had it our way it would have easily made the cut with such a stunning image of two of our favorite genres of the hobby, music & entertainment. A true one-of-a-kind Monroe relic that’s suitable of a centerpiece to any Hollywood/Entertainment collector!
