1963 would be a crucial transitional year for the boys from Liverpool. With The Beatles gaining momentum in the U.K., Brian Epstein would sign the band up for the largest gig to date, a sixteen-day tour around England with one of the largest stars at that time, Roy Orbison. To put into context how important this tour was for The Beatles, Orbison would actually start out as the headline act, but due to overwhelming demand for the audience, The Beatles would finish the tour as the lead act. For many in the U.K., this would be the first time they paid any attention to the band that quickly became a national phenomenon by year's end, largely due to the Orbison tour. Offered here is a 2.25" x 4" album page dating to that time, signed by all four of the Beatles in ballpoint pen - "Ringo xxx", "George Harrison", "John Lennon", and "Paul 'Beatles'". Adding to the desirability, the page has been signed on the reverse by their touring mate, Roy Orbison. The page stands in overall fine condition with minor spotting and extremely bold autographs. There is one vertical crease that goes through the tail end of Harrison's last name. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) as well as Tracks UK.
The Beatles Vintage Group Signed 2.25" x 5" Album Page w/ All Four Members & RARE Roy Orbison!(BAS/Beckett)
