Many Beatles enthusiasts still have a bit of disdain towards Yoko Ono for her role (or lack thereof) in breaking up the Beatles. It goes without saying no matter what her role is, she is a part of Beatles history. Offered here is an extremely rare signed 1970 Christmas card by John Lennon, who also signs on behalf of Yoko Ono. He also pens his noted witty commentary on the reverse, with the printed English gentleman saying "O for a muse of fire that would ascend but anyway", and adding the letters "UM" to the letter "B" printed, to form the word "BUM". On the inside left of the card, Lennon adds the word "WHY?" next to the printed statement about him on the card. All of these musings were typical of Lennon. On the front of the card is a reprint of John's original artwork. The sales of the cards that year were donated to the cause of helping underprivileged and handicapped children, a cause that was dear to Lennon's heart. In very good condition with some light aging and handling. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) as well as an LOA from noted Beatles authority Perry Cox.
