Choice signed bank check drawn on Cobb's personal account, August 9, 1949, made payable to an illegible source for an astounding $6,000, with the memo "Lot Purchase". Perhaps Cobb had his own affinity for auctions? Filled out entirely in Cobb's hand and signed in mint blue ballpoint pen. Check exhibits some wear and stamping with rubbing to the ink, otherwise fine condition. Cobb's signature has been given the grade of MINT 9 from PSA/DNA! Authenticated, graded & encapsulated.
