While many legendary characters are indeed the brain child of the legendary Walt Disney, contrary to popular perception, Disney never completely animated a single Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck cartoon. He would on rare occasion offer a quickly constructed version of his iconic figures. As such, sketches in any form by Disney remain highly coveted and seldom encountered.
With the previous statement considered, we are extraordinarily proud and honored to present this large & impressive Donald Duck sketch. Accomplished on a 5" x 9" vintage folded sheet in graphite pencil, Disney provides a nice bust image of the famed Donald Duck's head and has boldly signed below his creation. This drawing was likely accomplished for a VIP or some type of esteemed individually, as this sketch represents one of just a handful of authentic Disney sketches to ever be seen in the marketplace. A tremendous investment grade opportunity for the Disney collector. In overall fine condition with multiple intersecting folds, mounted, discoloration, with a vintage newspaper affixed to the reverse.
