In the late 1950s, Walt Disney was at the height of his success, with Disneyland having taken off and a steady stream of animated classics being produced. Due to this success, it is likely that Disney was in high demand to offer opinions on other people's art, whether looking for a job or a connection to the industry or just a boost in confidence. Offered here is a typed personal letter with exceptional "10" autograph, one page, dated August 14, 1959. Disney writes to a Mrs. Irene Holzer-Weinek of Vienna apologizing that he was not able to visit her studio and see her work upon a recent brief stay in Vienna. At the conclusion the letter bears a magnificent fountain pen signature from the animation icon, and the letter itself stands in excellent condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
