On September 29, 1954, Cleveland Indian Vic Wertz crushed a Don Liddle pitch 420 feet deep in Game One of the World Series. With the score tied up 2-2 against the New York Giants in the eighth inning, all fans turned and watched as Willie Mays made an over-the-shoulder catch at the warning track, running full speed. The play held Larry Doby at third base and preserved the score at 2-2.

The ticket offered here admitted one lucky fan to this game, Upper Level Reserved, for a whopping $7.35. The stub projects a clean and well preserved presentation, earning it the grade of VG-EX 4. Of the 52 total graded examples of this coveted memento, this ticket is one of only 8 examples to receive this grade, with none grading higher! A true investment-grade ticket from one of the greatest moments in baseball's illustrious existence.
