Never in the history of American team sports has there been a more dominant duo, each iconic Yankee launching dozens of long balls during seasons in which it didn't even require double-digits to reach the top ten in the category. So even Yankee haters have to tip their caps to the Bambino and the Iron Horse, who share space here upon the presented "Spalding" sphere.

In standard format, the Babe claims sweet spot honors for himself, and Gehrig applies his side panel signature near enough to Ruth's autograph to allow for simultaneous display. Ruth rates a solid 6/10, while his sidekick projects a slightly darker, stronger "7" appearance. A medium off-white hue overall, this ball features some scattered minor staining which lightly touches the "R" in Ruth and the "G" in Gehrig, however not detracting from the ball's solid appearance. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
