The 1938 Yankees would continue the success parlayed off of Babe Ruth's retirement in 1936, led by the one-two punch of Lou Gehrig & Joe DiMaggio, and winning a third of four consecutive World Championships. Any multi-signed item, especially a photograph, from this dominant team remain a tough find in today's market. Offered here is one such of those rarities, an 8" x 10" black & white official team photograph signed by an astounding 31 members. Notable signatures include "The Captain" Lou Gehrig, Lefty Gomez, Red Ruffing, Joe Gordon, Jacob Ruppert, and Joe McCarthy. In overall fine condition with some handling wear and surface impressions expected in an 80+ year old photograph. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
