Offered here is a 2.75" x 7.5" Springfield Marine & Fire Insurance Company check, dated February 28, 1859, personally signed by Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln penned only a handful of checks during his time, with few remaining in such fine condition as this offering. With the signature remaining bold & the colored tiers still vibrant on the Springfield issued bank check, this is easily one of the finest you will see!
