Stunning vintage semi-glossy 16" x 20" NASA color photo of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, with Buzz Aldrin descending to the moon's surface, signed & inscribed in black felt tip marker "To Art Salkin, With best wishes, Buzz Aldrin, July 20, 1969," Neil Armstrong" & "Michael Collins. This extraordinary offering stands as one of the only known over-sized 16" x 20" formats signed by all three members of the Apollo 11 mission. With this particular piece being gifted to long time Air Force & NASA public relations worked Art Skalin. Large & particularly stunning, this image was taken on the first day of the Lunar landing, making it especially rare & desirable along with the over-sized dimensions & near-mint autographs. The photo itself exhibits some scattering surface impressions & light handling wear towards the edges, none of which detract from the images tremendous visual appeal. Professionally framed & matted with red felt & a custom nameplate to an overall size of 26" x 26". Simply one of the best Apollo 11 relics we have ever offered.
