Program for The Great Music Experience concert which took place at the Buddhist Temple of Todai-ji, Japan and was held over three nights between the 20th and 22nd May 1994. The program, 10” x 12.25,” has been signed on the front cover by Bob Dylan in black marker pen, adding the year ‘’94’ below. Bold Signature measures 5" x 4". In very good to fine condition, with a small white mark under Dylan’s signature. Both Japanese and international artists performed at the event, including Bob Dylan along with INXS, John Bon Jovi amongst others. This item was originally obtained from the collection of Jim Callhan, head of Bob Dylan’s touring security. This piece has been recently reframed and the original glass was replaced by Optium Museum Acrylic from Tru Vue. Optium Museum Acrylic, the most elite and expensive technique of preserving art on paper, is as clear as glass but there are virtually no reflections, meaning that from most angles the art is so clear that doesn’t even look like there’s anything covering it.
Also, because it’s acrylic, it weighs much less than glass and can be stood up on a desk or hung on a wall. Includes a TRACKS UK Letter and a Letter of Authentication from Epperson.
