This segment, dated February 28, 1823, has been signed boldly and beautifully by one of the Founding Fathers, the first Vice President and second President of the United States, John Adams (not to be confused with his son, the sixth President, John Quincy Adams). This extremely rare relic is in excellent condition for its age, with a piece of tape of the autograph for preservation.
