In the early hours of game day, when the Boston Garden lights were as dim as could be, Bird could be found running the arena steps. Four hours before the game started, the faint sounds of one basketball hitting the classic parquet hardwood could be heard, as Bird would be shooting literally thousands of warm-up shots. Perfection and hard work defined "Larry Legend," but it was his sheer determination that separated the great Hall of Famer from the rest of the field. Offered here is a gorgeous kelly green Celtics cheesecloth knit jersey worn in the early 1980's by Larry Bird. Presenting the appropriate "Celtics Exclusivity" tag and "Medalist Sand Knit [size] 44" tag, which dates this to 1981-83, this classic shirt is amazing in its simplicity.
