Vintage calendar ledger page for July 29, 2.5” x 4,” signed in ink by George Dixon, who adds the year 1870. An addition beneath his signature, “World’s featherweight champion,” appears to have been penned in another hand, and a second person has signed at the bottom on the following day. In fine condition, with some toning, not at all affecting the signature. Accompanied by a PSA LOA. Dixon was the first black world boxing champion in any weight class who achieved the world bantamweight title in 1888—he passed away at the young age of only 37, rendering his autograph exceptionally rare.
