Not only is Jerry Rice considered one of the best wide receivers in history, but he is quite possibly the greatest NFL player at any position. Also widely recognized as one of the most dedicated figures in all of sports, Rice will forever be remembered for his superior conditioning and route running. One of the most reported examples of his unprecedented workout regimens may be "The Hill", a long steep hill that is two and a half miles up. Rice would sprint across the hill literally every day to make sure he maximized his potential on the field and had the edge against all opponents. That "edge" was tested by father time during his years with the Raiders after back-to-back 1000 yard seasons in 01-02, Rice would decline in 03 & retiring from the NFL in 2004. While the year of this next offering is unknown between 2001-2004, this Revolution Oakland Raiders helmet was game used/worn by Jerry Rice, most likely versus the rival Chiefs due to red scuffing.
