Handwritten letter dated September 15th, 1910 from Hall of Famer John J. McGraw to Cincinnati promoter D.A. Fletcher, regarding a post-season barnstorming series between major league stars of the day. McGraw writes, "In reply to your favor of the 6th, I will say that I am ready & curious to fill my contract with you. Please send transportation to the above address and let me know when you want me to report. If I can be of any use to you on this end let me know. Wishing you success. I am Yours Truly, J.J. McGraw." The proposed All Star Series was quickly banned by baseball's National Commission (predecessor to the Baseball Commissioner) and players were forced to return any money they had accepted. Overall in fine condition with foxing and some staple holes. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
