In the wake of his tragic passing in January, the legend and recognition of Kobe Bryant's greatness have grown exponentially. Video clips have shown a young Kobe as far back as high school professing his desire and drive to be the best basketball player ever. And now, this amazing discovery shows that Kobe had an essential lifelong love for the Lakers, which would eventually manifest in to him being--in the words of Magic Johnson--the greatest Laker of all-time. Presented here for your bidding consideration is a tremendous piece of Kobe memorabilia, this McDonald's All American 1996 High School basketball ball game program signed by #33 at the time - Kobe Bryant. It would be just months later that Kobe's entire life would change, being drafted in June of 96, and this All-American game being one of the last times the Lakers could lay eyes on the Lower Merion product on March 31st. In under 3 months, Kobe's entire life would change going from #33, to a Hornet, to a Laker, to #8 playing along side who was suppose to be the future face of the Lakers in Eddie Jones. The program has also been signed by a handful of other High School standouts including future NBA star Mike Bibby. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear & discoloration. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
