That plan, lead mostly by future President Dwight Eisenhower was executed on June 6th 1944 in Normandy, now known as D-Day. Offered here is a post D-Day October 5th, 1944 5" x 7" off-white Allied Expeditionary Force letter signed "Ike" at the conclusion.
