Despite a music career that was main stream for only seven (7) years, Stevie is widely considered one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of blues music, and one of the most important figures in the revival of blues in the 1980's. Signatures from SRV in any format are exceedingly rare. Offered here is a Stevie Ray Vaughan signed "Texas Flood" album cover, released in 1983, signed boldly by SRV in black felt tip marker, with the inscription "To Larry, All My Best". Vaughan's Double Trouble guitarist, Chris Layton, has also added his nickname "Whipper" along with a personalization unobtrusively in the back cover.
