Pol Bury was a respected Belgian sculptor known for his sleek sculptures and fountains that use simple geometric shapes. He is perhaps best known for the fountain-sculpture L'Octagon, located in San Francisco. Offered here is an original pencil sketch of a spherical sculpture on a pedestal accomplished by Bury on the reverse of a 4" x 6" postcard depicting his "Fontaines du Palais-Royal". The ultra-rare hand sketch has been signed at the bottom "With my regards, Pol Bury". Impressive! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
