Although Alexander Graham Bell is best known for his invention of the telephone (an undoubtedly astronomical invention considering the modern day dependence on the device), Bell also served for many years as a Regent of the Smithsonian Institution, from 1898-1922. Offered here is an 3" x 1" typed letter cut segment boldly signed by Bell himself in striking black ink. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear to the 14" x 20" framed display & a crease to the center of the autograph. Authenticated by Beckett/BAS with a full letter of authenticity.
