It goes without saying President Richard Nixon did his own retro-fitting of the White House and other government buildings, including removing some 18 and a half minutes of tapes that were seemingly crucial. While documents and appointments from the 1960's (Kennedy/LBJ/Nixon) are extremely scarce to begin with this appointment from Nixon serves for an interesting cause given his now known history - A Member of the Committee for the Preservation of the White House. This November 12th, 1969 appointment of Ralph E. Carpenter to the position of member of the committee of the preservation of the White House. Overall in good condition with light rippling & minor discoloration. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
