Salvador Dali remains so much more than a Spanish Surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship and the striking and bizarre images in his work. He to this day remains a cultural symbol of outside thinking & mind expansion with progressive themes of his works including dreams, the subconscious, sexuality, religion, science and his closest personal relationships. One other theme of Dali was his love for motorcycles and their symbolic freedom nature, it's said Dali's last project in 1988 consist of 20 motorcycles five of which are fastened on top of each other and backed by the music of Richard Wagner's opera Parzival. While the date of this treasure is unknown, the detail, technical skill and bizarre imagery all so well known for Dali's million dollar originals can be hard with this 5" x 7" offering! This off-white book page has been inscribed in Spanish (translated) "in memory of the guardians of the night angel motorized, with the affection of Salvador Dali" with the surrealist adding a surreal motorized Angel aiming to take flight from the page. Overall in fine condition with minor handling wear to the edges. It's worth noting sketches do appear from Dali, but ones of this quality & detail rarely surface. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
