“Songs to Grow On, Nursery Days” original album three-record set, accompanied by the official booklet, which has been signed and inscribed by the artist himself, in bold ink, “Our latest album, Woody Guthrie.” The impressive album box, New York, 1947, contains three 78 rpm discs within including the first recordings of six beloved children’s songs by Guthrie, composed with and for his beloved daughter, Cathy. The recording is described as “the most important Guthrie recordings on DISC.” Album cover itself exhibits some wear, however, the autographed booklet is absolutely pristine. Handsomely housed in a custom burgundy clamshell presentation box with gold embossing on binding. From the Estate of Guthrie’s close and intimate correspondent Charlotte Strauss.
