This remarkable 4 page handwritten letter by Hunter Thompson was written while aboard the California Zephyr train. This is one of Thompson's earliest letters to which he mentions writing his first novel, The Rum Diary. Thompson further mentions blowing up the luggage car and his plans to make his own alcohol as he has no money. Many incredible Hunter-isms throughout the letter!
