Very rare (# 13 of 40) Derek Jeter signed hand painted Warner Bros. animation cel titled “What’s up Doc!”. Features an image of Derek Jeter making his famous jump throw and Bugs Bunny imitating the Yankees captain. Bugs is throwing out Daffy Duck with Marvin the Martian catching and Elmer Fudd as the umpire. Other famous characters are in the background: Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam and Tweety Bird. This is # 13 of 40 AP edition. Also signed by the animator Robert Porter McKimson, Jr. Image size: 13.25" x 16". Framed size: 18.5" x 21". Comes with a JSA LOA # BB72637. The frame show signs of wear.

Derek Jeter, the NY Yankees Captain, is a Hall of Fame shortstop. He is a five-time World Series champion and is the Yankees' all-time career leader in hits (3,465), doubles (544), games played (2,747), stolen bases (358), times on base (4,716), plate appearances (12,602) and at bats (11,195). His many accomplishments include 14 All-Star selections, 5 Gold Glove Awards, 5 Silver Slugger Awards, 2 Hank Aaron Awards, and a Roberto Clemente Award. He was the 28th player to reach 3,000. A member of the “Core Four”, his uniform number 2 is retired by the New York Yankees and enshrined in Monument Park at Yankee Stadium.
