Offered here is a Remo 20-inch REMO custom drumhead made for the Tribute to Jeff Porcaro, held in 1992 in the wake of the legendary Toto drummer's sudden passing at the age of 38. This particular drumhead was created and featured at the press conference to announce the concert event (which was held on December 14, 1992 at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles) and signed by the celebrity attendees who came together to announce the show. Penned in felt tip marker, the signers include Eddie Van Halen, Don Henley, Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald, Mike Porcaro and two others. A link included with this listing shows the press conference where the concert was announced, with the drumhead being prominently featured in front of the podium and presumably signed by the attendees after the event. The drumhead is affixed to a black foam backing board from previous framing and is in overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
