Presented here is the body of a Gibson SG guitar once owned and stage played by legendary Nirvana/Foo Fighters/Germs guitarist Pat Smear. The guitar was believed to have been smashed by Smear in 2013 during a Germs reunion show, however when presented with the guitar in 2014 (when the band signed the guitar) Smear stated that he believed he actually smashed it during a performance with the Foos. In any event, the guitar was undoubtedly used by the guitar great and signed by David Grohl. Taylor Hawkins (who adds "Foos 2014"), Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Nate Mendel. Obtained in person and aside from obvious damage from Smear the guitar body stands in fine condition. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance.
