Offered here is a Rawlings official Major League (Manfred) baseball that was used in play during the April 25, 2018 game between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Specifically, this baseball was pitched by Astros Ace Justin Verlander to Kole Calhoun in the 6th inning. The ball was used for all 3 pitches to Calhoun, with the result being a swinging strikeout on the 3rd pitch, notching Verlander's 7th strikeout of the game and the 2,686th K of his HOF-caliber career. The ball was then pitched one more time to the next batter before being fouled out of play and retired from the game. The ball itself exhibits excellent game usage and is authenticated by a serial numbered hologram affixed by Major League Baseball (MLB) Authentication.
