Bruce Springsteen handwritten lyrics on the front and back of a 6” x 8.75” piece of lined paper, which includes 28 lines in black ballpoint pen of the Bob Dylan song, "Day of the Locusts". Lyrics read, in part: “The benches were stained with tears / the birdies use flying from tree / there was little to say there was / no conversation as I stepped to the stage to receive my degree / Chorus - the loust sang (off in the dist.) such as sweet melody / Repeat I / Singing for me.” In very good condition, with scattered creasing and edge wear. An impressive 28 lines in the “Boss’s” own hand from a song that originated from one of Springsteen's biggest influences! Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Beckett/BAS.
