Self-titled debut Pretenders album, fully signed on the cover in blue ballpoint pen by Chrissie Hynde, Martin Chambers, Pete Farndon, and the scarce James Honeyman Scott (d. 1982); two have inscribed to “Harry,” with Hynde adding a lengthy sentiment, “Dear Harry, thanks for everything, we’ll be seeing you a lot I hope!” In very good condition, with moderate creases and wear. This piece has a notable background having been signed to photographer Harry Goodwin—who’s photographed the likes of the Stones and the Beatles. Goodwin later worked on the Pretenders “The Singles” release and his accomplished art can be found in the National Portrait Gallery. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original purchaser of items from the Harry Goodwin Collection and a Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
