Exceptional Vintage Signed Photograph with Early Every-Letter Autograph!

Here is a stunning black and white 1975 Columbia Records promotional photograph captured during the legendary “Born to Run photo” sessions, signed perfectly by Bruce Springsteen in the sweet spot. Springsteen has executed a textbook 1975-era signature in blue ballpoint pen. This image was captured by photographer Eric Meola on June 20th, 1975 in his studio at 134 Fifth Avenue, New York City. Meola explains, “I planned out the lighting and setup several days in advance. For about two weeks he [Springsteen] didn’t show and Mike [Appel] called up to explain they were working 24/7 in the studio. Finally, in desperation, I called Mike and said something like “it’s now or never,” and a couple of days later Bruce and Clarence [Clemons] showed up…Bruce and I discussed the clothing and that I wanted to shoot in black & white, but it was very loose and I had a lot of control. I deliberately chose a white background, which I knew would work well for promotion and putting type on the cover.” Born to Run was released on August 25th, 1975 on Columbia Records. The album garnered widespread acclaim on release and has since been considered by critics to be one of the greatest albums of all time. An extraordinary vintage signed publicity photo of Springsteen captured during the recording of his magnum opus. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from music autograph authority Roger Epperson/REAL Authentication.
